Yes. Your personal information is kept confidential from the moment you make contact and everything we discuss in our sessions together will be confidential except:
- If, I become concerned that you or someone else are at risk of serious harm; I may need to talk with my supervisor and help you put in place support from outside organisations such as your GP. I would aim to explore this with you first and work together with you to best help support you.
- If required by law; If I become concerned that you or someone else are involved in acts of terrorism, vulnerable adult issues or child protection issues or drug related money laundering, I am legally required to report this.
- For the purposes of supervision; As part of my ethical code of practice I am required to engage in on-going clinical supervision with a trained colleague. This is to ensure I am working effectively. Supervision is confidential and anonymised.
